Vista’s cool snipping tool
Until Vista we had print screen or 3rd party screen capture programs such as Snagit. The new Snipping Tool in Vista lets you capture an image of the screen or an area of the screen image. To activate snipping tool press the Windows key, enter “snipping” without the quotes. When you first access the tool it will locate itself on the quick launch menu.

To take an image of a menu launch snipping tool, press esc, open the menu you want to snip.
